जहांगीर आर्ट गैलरी की गैलरी 3 में 43 चित्रों को प्रदर्शित करके 05 नवम्बर 2008 को प्रातः से ही उद्घाटन की तैयारी में हम लोग लग गये तथा कुछ समय के बाद पंडित परमानंद यादव जी भी आ गये वह भी हम लोगों का हाथ बटाए धीरे-धीरे संतोष के कलाकार मित्र आ गये लगभग हर काम होता गया, फिर संजय सबके साथ भोला,एल.पी.,संग्राम जी, अपने मित्रों के साथ आ गये और फिर रमेश जी क्योंकि इन्हें ही संचालन करना था. कला इन दिनों में बहुत सारे आयाम बदलती जा रही है जिसके कारण इन दिनों दुनिया में कला की चर्चा जोरों पर है, कलाकार केन्द्र बिन्दु है या उसकी कला, कला प्रमुख है या कलाकार, किस स्कूल का है कहां का है कितना कीमती है, आज बाजार में बड़ी बड़ी कंपनियां कला के व्यापार में आगे आकर कला को बेचा खरीदा जा रहा है जिसमें नाना प्रकार की कलाओं की पहुँच हो रही है यही सब दिखाई दे रहा था कला के रूप में जहाँगीर आर्ट गैलरी में - कहीं नायब तो कहीं प्रयोग और तो और इंडस्ट्री की तरह कलाकृतियों का उत्पाद .
दूसरी ओर एक वर्ग वह उठ खडा़ हुआ है जिसे आज कला संग्राहक के रूप में देखा जाता है वह बाजार का प्रतिनिधि होता है और तय करता है कलाओं का वजूद, वह कलाओं की कितनी समझ रखता है इस पर सवाल उठाना ठीक है कि नहीं, यह उनसे पूछना पड़ सकता है, उसकी आंख कलाकार की कृतियों की खरीद की दिशा  तय करता है, बेशक कलाओं के लिए ये सवाल सहजतया उठने लगते हैं. 

पर कैसे तय हो कला का उत्थान यह सवाल कला समीक्षकों के लिए छोड़ दिए जाने पर भी अनेक खतरे मौजूद रहते हैं, इन्ही सब विचारों को सहेजे मैं अपने चित्र इस कलादीर्घा में लगा रखा हूँ देखिये क्या प्रतिक्रिया मिलती है ?

For the first time I have seen painting exhibition on village theme. I am very much touched by the selection of simple subjects and the artists ability to bring out the expressions in such a way that even a common man can understand. It is a marvelous expression of artist's thought process on a common theme. I would like to congratulate the artist and wish him all the best in all his future endeavors.

Ratnakar's paintings and drawings are free from western art influences and deliberately ignored so called Indian urban sensibilities. But they are very much contemporary. They are the representatives of rural India .

Ratnakar has deep understanding of socio-economic, socio-cultural and socio-political conflicts of north Indian states and their knowledge reflects in his works and often strengthens it. His bold and powerful lines make his work distinctive and his bright colours make them inspiring.
